The archive is the feature
When I started this blog I obsessed over the homepage. Now I rarely look at it. The pages I return to are the deep ones — posts from 2022, half-finished thoughts from 2023, a single paragraph from 2024 that I keep meaning to expand into something longer.
A blog is not a feed. A blog is an archive that happens to have a feed attached. The feed is for other people. The archive is for you.
